How to remove a virus without antivirus software?

I suspect malware on my PC but can’t install antivirus. What’s the manual method to clean it?

Boot into Safe Mode, open Task Manager and end suspicious processes. Also clear temp files.

Use Windows Defender Offline Scan and check "msconfig" for unknown startup entries.
